This project was designing a logo for an architectural design firm. The challenge with this logo was that it needed to fit with the company, but had to be simple enough to be understood when scaled down very small. For the design of this logo, I used two tools commonly used in their profession, a slide ruler and a measured straight edge with a 90 degree angle. These tools are well known enough to let the viewers of the company logo associate them with their line of work, and when accompanied with the name, will leave no doubt about their line of work. This logo is simple, yet attractive, and is an expression of the quality of work one can expect from the company. Also, included is an example of the application of this logo on one of the companies business cards.
