This design was for an art festival. In order to capture the attention of people that would be interested in this I chose an artsy design. The flyer itself is simply laid out around the center image. The text is in contrasting colors to allow the information it conveys to stand out to a reader. It holds all information pertinent to the event on the top in a larger font to allow it to be read easier. The rest of the text is formed around the image at the center of the flyer. This allows the image to stand out as the centerpiece and gives it importance. The border around the image being a different color also gives it important properties of being the center of the flyer. This will draw the attention of people interested in the arts and cause them to read the flyer about the festival.
